Tea Party Caucus member, first-term Congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL) has boasted during the debt ceiling debate in Washington, D.C., that under no circumstances should President Obama be allowed to raise the limit, regardless of U.S. defaulting on obligations owed.

Turns out, that Rep. Walsh understands about owing money in the worse way, as a deadbeat dad.

The ex-wife of Rep.Walsh has sued her ex-husband for more than $117,000 in what she says is unpaid child support and interest. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Laura Walsh filed the claim in December in their divorce case.
Ms. Walsh also cites on the claim that Rep. Walsh loaned his own campaign $35,000 but questions that actions, calling it “surprising” considering the money he owes to support their three children.

Rep. Walsh has been outspoken against any tax increases on wealthy individuals during debt showdown between GOP lawmakers and the White House.

For the Congressman behalf, his attorney R. Steven Polachek stated that Rep. Walsh answered in a February court filing and he believed Walsh and the ex-wife were coming to an agreement on the money owed.

Polachek did admit the Tea Party Congressman owes something but, denies the Rep. Walsh owes “anywhere near” the amount Laura Walsh claims.
