P/T Production Assistant


Seeking a Production Assistant for a National & Internationally Aired Political Podcast. Candidate must have experience in the production and editing audio files in Sony Audio Forge 10 or Sound Organizer. Podcast production experience preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Movie Maker an added plus.

Production Assistant must be available for program live broadcast LIVE weekday morning/early afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday, and should expect to devote 6 to 8 hours per week in editing live show content, social media promotion and other tasks as assigned.

Must have high-speed internet access, high-quality broadcast headphones and microphone (or willingness to purchase), Skype, Sony Sound Organizer and/or Sound Forge and a computer on site – as this is a Work from Home position.

Independent Underground Radio LIVE has two openings for strong and experienced Sponsor/Advertising Sales Executive. Duties including promoting packages to small/medium size businesses, non-profits and e-Commerce based companies. A minimum of one year of commission based sales required.

The Sponsor Sales Executive is required to have a book of business contacts available. A sales script would be provided by our organization.

Independent Underground Radio LIVE Co-Host


Seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic Co-Host for a National  and Internationally Aired Political Podcast which achieved over 1.4 million downloads and listens in 2014.

In-Depth knowledge on Local, State and National politics required, superior research skills, social media savvy, dynamic and independent voice for subjects from economics, social justice, finance, unionization and income inequality. At lease six months or more experience in the Talk or Podcast Talk Radio Industry highly preferred.

This is a commission paid position based on sponsorship sales.


The program is broadcast LIVE on weekday morning Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates should expect to devote 8-10 hours per week in podcast production and live show content.

P/T Production Assistant & Scheduling Producer Internship


The primary goal Production Internship with managing studio operations during Independent Underground Radio LIVE’s podcast including video feed generation support our social media platforms, contributing content a minimum of three times a week for the News site and other duties as assigned. Internships run for 90 days in duration, up to 15 hours weekly and are unpaid. Superior writing skills required, experience with Sound Organizer preferred.

The Scheduling Internship works to schedule guest experts for the show via email, phone call or by combination. Scheduling Intern include scheduling and confirming guest experts per show (8-10 shows per month), monitoring social media accounts, managing company email and other duties as assigned. Internships run for 90 days in duration,  up to 15 hours weekly and are unpaid.

Both Opening are WORK FROM HOME positions.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma/GED/ Two Years of college preferred or current student in Journalism, Business Management, Communications or Broadcast Arts Fields. Internet connection in the home required. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times when booking guests and during program production duties/1 year experience as a schedule producer in podcast or traditional radio format preferred. Experience in Audio Forge 10 or above, Sony Sound Organizer – highly preferred.
